Curriculum Music Teachers
Pay: £29.92 – £36 per hour
Wandsworth Music is seeking enthusiastic music teachers who are committed to delivering a high quality music education to children in EYFS, KS1 & KS2. We are looking to fill approximately 13.5 hours per week for January 2024, and are particularly keen to hear from individuals with previous successful experience of delivering whole class curriculum music programmes in schools.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- An awareness and understanding of the primary aged music curriculum;
- The ability to demonstrate high levels of musicianship;
- Confidence in using their singing voice;
- The ability and passion to motivate, engage and inspire young people of all musical abilities and backgrounds
- The ability to maintain high professional standards, including excellent timekeeping and communication skills.
- An enthusiastic team player, able to use their own initiative.
Music Tutors
Pay: £24.68 – £34.12 per hour
We are always keen to hear from talented and enthusiastic music tutors and teachers who are interested in joining our panel of tutors. We have work available and are especially keen to recruit music tutors with the following specialisms:
Violin (Teaching available on Saturdays at the Music Academy plus teaching in schools during the week)
Trumpet & Trombone (work available at the Music Academy on Saturdays and in school during the week)
Piano (work available in schools during the week)
Guitar (work available in schools during the week)
Vocal (work available in schools during the week)
These positions are PAYE not self-employed. The hourly rate of pay is inclusive of holiday pay. Tutors are automatically enrolled into the Teachers Pension Scheme for which Wandsworth Music contribute 23.68% of total pay.

Wandsworth Music is looking for enthusiastic and experienced therapists to join our team. There are opportunities for therapists to join our growing team of therapists working in schools across the borough and the Saturday Clinic.
Therapist Rates of Pay (These are PAYE positions):
In School Day Rate: £218 per day (inclusive of holiday pay)
In School Half Day Rate: £125 per half day (inclusive of holiday pay)
Saturday Clinic / Ad Hoc Hourly Rate: £32.02 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
