Curriculum Music Teachers

Pay: £32.31 – £38.88 p/h inclusive of holiday pay and eligibility for workplace pension scheme.

Wandsworth Music is seeking enthusiastic music teachers who are committed to delivering a high quality music education to children in EYFS, KS1 & KS2. We are particularly keen to hear from individuals with previous successful experience of delivering whole class curriculum music programmes in schools.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• An awareness and understanding of the primary aged music curriculum;
• The ability to demonstrate high levels of musicianship;
• Confidence in using their singing voice; 
• The ability and passion to motivate, engage and inspire young people of all musical abilities and backgrounds
• The ability to maintain high professional standards, including excellent timekeeping and communication skills.
• An enthusiastic team player, able to use their own initiative.

Music Tutors

Pay: £26.65 – £36.85 p/h inclusive of holiday pay and eligibility for workplace pension scheme.

We are always keen to hear from talented and enthusiastic music tutors and teachers who are interested in joining our panel of tutors. We have work available and are especially keen to recruit music tutors with the following specialisms for September:

Strings (Teaching available in schools and cover work at the Music Academy)

Guitar (Teaching available in schools and the Music Academy)

Clarinet (Teaching available in schools and the Music Academy)

Early Years practitioners (For new programmes of outreach work in the community)

These positions are PAYE and not self-employed. The hourly rate of pay is inclusive of holiday pay and enrolment in the workplace pension scheme.

Join our music therapy team

Wandsworth Music is looking for enthusiastic and experienced therapists to join our team. There are opportunities for therapists to join our growing team of therapists working in schools across the borough and the Saturday Clinic. Therapist Rates of Pay (These are PAYE positions):

In School Day Rate: £235 per day (inclusive of holiday pay)

In School Half Day Rate: £135 per half day (inclusive of holiday pay)

Saturday Clinic / Ad Hoc Hourly Rate: £34.58 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
