Wandsworth Music has an excellent stock of high quality musical instruments to help ensure that pupils have access to an instrument.

Instrument Hire Rates 2024-25 WMA members and In School Peripatetic Lesson Students Instrument Hire Rates
| Rate 1: Acoustic Guitars | £17 per term (rate 1) |
| Rate 2: Trumpet, Trombone, Flute, Clarinet, Alto sax, Cello, Violin, Viola | £42 per term (rate 2) |
| Rate: 3 Oboe, Bassoon, Tuba, French Horn, Tenor Sax, Euphonium, Double Bass | *£64 per term (rate 3) |
Children who qualify for pupil premium, or are in receipt of Free School Meals will pay a reduced fee of £13.00 per term
Private Instrument Hire Rates
A deposit of 2 terms hire is required at the start of the rental period, for a Private Hire, where the borrower is not having lessons arranged by Wandsworth Music either at the Wandsworth Music Academy or in school . This will be refunded in full, on return of the instrument, provided it is undamaged and in working condition. We reserve the right to withhold the deposit to pay for any damages or repairs.

Instrument hire is only available to those who are having lessons on the instrument.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that any instrument borrowed from us is fully insured against loss and damage (Please check with your home insurance as this may already be covered). To assist with the insurance process, please see our Instrument and Resources Values Page
